Welcome home from Schoten

On behalf of Deb sitter, Ruth Walsh and I, we can't say enough what a wonderful trip we had in Schoten with our teachers, the band, and this group of dancers. Thank you to Trinity for making this trip possible, and thank you parents for trusting your wonderful dancers with us as we traveled overseas. We will make our photos as well as Olaf's available to all soon. It was an experience of a lifetime for everyone. Thank you again.

All packed up

Well we are packed and ready to head home. Pulling an all nighter tonite. The bus comes at 6:00 am and it's now 3:49 am. The show was incredible. Our kids were the darlings of the entire show and the boys were the stars! They brought down the house. Pictures to come. See you at ohare! Xoxoxo

OMG!

We were selected to close the show. Michelle told us this was a huge honor. Set list includes: step about, MENS SOLO!!!!! blackthorn, song, and finale...the only thing that follows us is fireworks. Although our dancers have been making their own!!! More to come. Let's give all these kids a BUNCH of shout outs TODAY on the blog. They will love it. :)

Today!

We are SO thankful for no rain today.  No puddles, no ponchos and although it was a little cool out, we were just thankful for a dry day.  Started out the day by performing for nursing home residents.  the audience was SO appreciative and loved our dancers.  They packed the house.  After, there was shopping and another performance tonight.  Take a peeky at some photos from our day. By the way, Kiernan and Peter are rocking the house.

Brugge was spectacular.  This group of shots includes Brugge,  Bulgarian dancers, China, our dancers, the MOMS, two dancers that lost their front teeth in an unfortunate waffle eating incident, and "Peter Dziak"

Back from Brugge

We had an amazing day. Wait until you see all the cool photos the dancers took!!! walking tour with our guide and then a canal boat tour. Brugge was like walking into a medieval village. It's called the Venice of the north! So cool. Tomorrow is Antwerp where we will come back with beautiful diamonds for all. Do we have any special requests?

Today, we woke up super early to go to mass. All of the countries came together for the mass. Each country had to perform a song. Four of our girls & Brendan sang a song that Brendan wrote. After mass, we went to lunch and then got ready for the parade. We paraded around the whole town of Schoten. Afterwards, we had a show in the main tent. We had a well needed night off tonight! We played games with the Bulgarians and Hungarians!
