After a long night of group bonding last night with our team, we all managed to get our stuff out to the bus this morning to head to Schoten, the festival city. Once we arrived here, we had a short meeting with the committee of the festival and drank lemonade that tasted like sparkling orange juice. At the school where we are staying, we got lunch and met the group from Bulgaria. We played a basketball game against them. Too bad they were better than us. Then after dinner we came back for a short practice with our musicians. We have spent the past couple of hours dancing out in the common area with the groups from Bulgaria and Turkey. The dancers from Turkey were very impressive and it took us awhile to get the hang of their dance. Once we did, it was a lot of fun. We're so excited to have arrived at the festival. We will keep you posted and w.

You might have been better at basketball if you put your irish dancing teachings aside. It is ok to move arms away from your side in basketball. In fact it makes easier to shoot.
